GENERAL RULES
1. AprenderPortuguês is a space for learning, where all students and teachers shall contribute for its good activity. It is asked of them mutual respect.
2. All lessons are personal and not transferable to other people.
3. All lessons must be paid in a previous date before the beginning of any modality (see Rules for Lessons / Package Lessons / Courses).
4. In case of absence or abandonment of the student in group lessons and courses, the amount already paid is not refunded.
5. The lessons/courses can be cancelled by the teacher if it is believed that the student's behavior is not appropriated. It is considered inappropriate behavior if it’s coarsed, aggravated, offensive, unstable. It will also be considered any kind of verbal, physical expressions or defaults that damage the class’s environment.
6. The teachers must make up for a lesson, in case they miss it, rescheduling that lesson for a posterior date.
7. Every student who doesn’t give 6 hours notice, when absente, will lose the lesson. The teacher is not obliged to refund or replace it. If all lessons are cancelled by the student, any amount already paid is not refunded.
8. The schedule of the lessons/courses might be adjusted by the teacher to students needs.
9. A certificate of attendance of lessons will only be issued when the student completes a level program, attends 75% of the total number of hours and has a positive result in the final diagnoses.
10. To issue this certificate, the Student must pay 25€.
11. AprenderPortuguês does not take responsibility for objects or valuable things that the students might have in possession during their attendance at the facilities where the classes are held.
12. The violation of any of the rules stated in this regulation may lead to the removal of the student from all lessons/courses, without being entitled to the reimbursement of any amount already paid.
RULES FOR INDIVIDUAL / PACKAGE LESSONS
1. All students must make a subscription in advance and pay a fee (85€) to assure their presence and to guarantee the Schedule planed for the classes. This fee is not an extra payment, it is included in the total amount that the student must pay.
2.The remaining payment is done the day before the first class.
3. The lessons always have a fixed Schedule, according to the availability of the teacher and the students.
4. In case of absence or abandonment of a student, the amount already paid is not refundable.
RULES FOR COURSES
1. To assure the learning success, each class doesn't take more than 14 students in presencial classes (until 8 students in online classes).
2. The students must pay the subscription fee to assure their presence in the course. In case the subscription is not done, the place is not assured.
3. The amount of the subscription is not an extra. It is included in the total amount of the course.
4. The amount of the subscription is not refunded if the student does not attend the first day of classes.
5. The remaining payment is done at the beginning of the first class.
6. In case of withdrawal and absence of the student, the total amount already paid is not refunded.
7. To obtain the certificate of attendance of lessons, the student is required to attend 75% of classes taught and to have a positive assessment in the final diagnoses.
